“Matam”, an association which assists in developing business incubators for volunteer work in Jazan, organized a training session focused on the management of volunteer teams with a goal of encouraging youth to commit to volunteer work and community service to maximize their impact on their communities.

The training session was conducted by “Alsmo for Youth Development” in partnership with Salem bin Mahfouz Foundation and in coordination with the committee for social development, in order to enhance to presence of business incubators for volunteer work in Jazan. The session was carefully tailored to tend to the needs of the region, and was implemented in accordance with best global practices. Members of the committee for social development were also trained prior to the sessions in order to enhance their overall performance and effectiveness throughout the training.

The “Matam” project was created to meet the community’s needs for an enhanced and more efficient volunteer work experience and aims to maximize the impact of volunteers on their community.
