photo   23 ORPHANS TRAINED IN ENGLISH PROFICIENCY, MANAGEMENT EXCELLENCE AND HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Serving as just one of its many charitable endeavors, Salem bin Mahfouz Foundation has completed a project to train 23 female orphans from Jeddah in the basics of human resource management, management excellence and English proficiency. This training, in addition to “personality tests” administered to all trainees, was provided in order to better prepare participants in their quest to enter the business market.

This inspiring project, which The Namaa Charitable Institute assisted in developing and which was organized by Saleh bin Mahfouz Foundation in a strategic partnership with the Proleaders Institute, required trainees to undergo 180 hours of comprehensive training designed to improve their English proficiency and their basic understanding of marketing, management and human resource management.

The English proficiency training required participants to learn about five language skills that are: grammar, listening, comprehension, writing and conversational basics. As for the management excellence training, participants learned about customer service, secretarial work, effective communication and business etiquette. The remaining training sessions will be held after the conclusion of the first phase of the project.

Upon its conclusion, the program awards graduates with five certificates accredited from the Ministry of Labor and TVTC (Technical and Vocational Training Institute) and boosts participants’ confidence in obtaining work related to customer service, marketing, HR and secretarial work.
